This has been a long time coming — a project that has been in the works for the past few months. If #ItsGoingDownAtPHX was the party, consider this the AFTER party that will never stop. We’re turning it up to 11, taking over the interwebs, and everyone is invited.
A special shout out to @RuggedWoodsman for designing the logo.
We wanted to create a running crew-group-club-team that captured everything that we are about: running all the miles and killing it on social media.
Whether we are taking selfies with 44 people, qualifying for Boston, taking pictures of our feet for Instagram, or signing up for all the races because we can’t help ourselves — we are doing it together.
All inclusive: We are (simply put) runners. The group is made up of the entire spectrum of runners: middle of the pack, Boston qualifiers, couch-to-5k-ers, first timers, run/walkers, age-group winners, trail runners, ultra runners, marathoners, half marathoners, ALL runners. We are a community made up of individuals going out and achieveing their own dreams and walking their own path, but we are doing it together and celebrating the journey.
“A mythical bird that never dies, the phoenix flies far ahead to the front, always scanning the landscape and distant space. It represents our capacity for vision, for collecting sensory information about our environment and the events unfolding within it. The phoenix, with its great beauty, creates intense excitement and deathless inspiration.”

Where it began
The idea was born shortly after the Phoenix Marathon where a group of social media friends experienced a weekend that was about so much more than running a race. It was a circle of runners that mostly interacted through social media (and many meeting for the first time) coming together around an event, high-fiving, becoming besties, and wanting to keep that feeling alive. “Where and when are we doing this again?” was pretty much the consensus afterwards.
Be a Part of It
#WeRunSocial is an open-invite crew. You want in? You’re in. Use the hashtag, use the logo, keep doing your thing. There is really only one guideline for being a part of this movement: be good people.
Every fresh crew needs some gear. The #WeRunSocial officially launched and it’s selling out quickly.
We want you to be a part of this. We want runners that are winning at life on social media. We want runners that have all the medals. We’ll price the gear as close to cost as we can, BUT sizes and styles will be extremely limited to start.
Where are we at next?
