“Congrats you won” is an amazing way to start off an email and I’m lucky enough to be able to (hopefully) share that with you. Merrithew Health & Fitness, also associated with STOTT PILATES (their premier brand) surprised 10 lucky winners from BlogFest with a Virtual Swag Bag and I was one of them. Each prize pack included some amazing fitness equipment along with the opportunity to share that same prize pack with another luck winner.
What it includes:
- Weighted Exercise Hoop
- Mat Bag, Duffle Style
- Pilates & Yoga Mat (Downward Dog)
- Halo Trainer with Stability Ball
Any of these things individually is a great thing to have, but all four is like having your own personal fitness studio at home. When Merrithew was at Blogfest, they took us through a light workout routine (see the tweet) with their Fitness Circle and sent us home with a DVD as well. I’m telling you, I have a Merrithew fitness studio in my house now and will soon be accepting memberships that include some light running to top off your workout.
Everything breaks down pretty easily to carry if you happen to travel or are worried about the space in your home. I have a small home that is filled with my daughter’s toys and stuffed animals, so don’t worry. Everything in the prize pack actually ALMOST fits in the duffle, but I wouldn’t force it. The weighted exercise hoops breaks down into 6 pieces and can be re-assembled really quickly. The Halo Trainer also breaks down into a few pieces and the Stability Ball comes with a foot pump for inflation/deflation.
I have yet to workout with the equipment, but I’m super excited about the Halo Trainer. If you can see on the stability ball, there are workout pictures in white for different moves you can do. Part of the struggle, for me, with a stability ball is that it MOVES. I know that helps to work your core, but if you are a beginner, like me, you need a place to start and to build strength. Like running, I would never suggest anyone goes out and runs 15 miles on your first day, you would start at the beginning and build strength.
Enter for your chance to win!
Merrithew is giving away this entire prize pack to one randomly selected winner. THAT MAKES US TWINSIES! Simply enter below for your chance to win. The entry period will end October 15, 2014 and a winner will be notified. NOTE: The Halo Trainer and Stability Ball are currently on back order (it’s a hot item), but they should be restocked in November.
