The alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. and after hitting snooze a couple of times, I grabbed my clothes and made my way downstairs. By the time I finished the drive to San Francisco and parked the car the sun was still down, but you could feel the energy was building amongst the tribe members.

I had made my way back to NPSF

It’s had been a couple of months since I joined the tribe at Alta Plaza Park in San Francisco, life happens, but it was smiles and hugs the moment I saw familiar faces. The day’s challenge was to run little mini-loops throughout the park with stations designated for burpees, jump squats, sergeant lunges, bicycle abs, and push ups — all in an attempt to make a shamrock. Below is what I came up with, you can see some others here.

It felt really good to be a part of the NP community again. Even after a couple of months, it was like I never missed a beat. I’ll be joining them again on Friday for some hill training, which is pretty much a mandatory task in San Francisco. Be sure to check out if November Project is happening in your community. There are also cities that are pledging to become official NP cities, so keep an eye on social for grassroots gear.
