Attached is a picture of me after having finished my first marathon at the Seattle Rock n Roll Marathon on June 22 of this year. I love it because the race ignited my passion of the marathon (I finished three more after that for 4 marathons in 5.5 months) and I was so proud to accomplish something I never thought I could do. 2013 looks like it was an amazing year for all of us, in many different ways. Even if there were some high points and some low points, I was glad to see that everyone was able to find a photo that meant something special to them.

This is amazing!!! I’m not surprised at the tears that have pricked my eyes many times while reading the captions that go with the awesome photos. Running is amazing no matter where you are in your journey and I love that our community is so supportive and celebrates that.
