2012 has been a very busy year and if you are like me, you might be in need of a little extra motivation to keep the miles up during the Holiday season. Thankfully, Runner’s World has presented us with the #RWRunStreak Challenge to run at least one mile a day between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day.
The info on the #RWRunStreak, courtesy of Runner’s World
Stay fit and motivated during the busy (and calorie-filled) holiday season by pledging to run at least one mile every day, Thanksgiving through New Year’s.
One way to make your December training log entries look less like a string of binary code is to join our second annual Holiday Running Streak. Pledge to run at least one mile every day, from Thanksgiving (that’s Thursday, November 22) through New Year’s Day.
For those of you that took on the challenge and completed it, grab your Finisher’s Crest (or badge) and tweet it, pin it, add it to you blog, make it your profile picture or frame it. You deserve the recognition for running 41 consecutive days.
That might not be enough to burn off all of Grandma’s cookies or Lattes, but it’s a start.

I also designed the Summer version below. If you didn’t have a chance to grab it earlier this year, there is no time like the present.
In fact, if you did BOTH. Let me present a custom piece for you oh magnificent runner, you.
For those bloggers that may be adding these to your side panels, here are smaller versions.

I didn’t participate in either, but those badges make me wish that I did. Nice job, both on the design, and to all of those that completed the challenge.
I somehow rocked the summer one while being pregnant but failed at the winter one….I bombed in the last week! Great job and Happy New Year!!
So cool that you were asked to do this again, they look awesome! Congrats dude :)
LOVE this! Sad I don’t get to sport it, but very nice work on the badge!! Love the blue and orange together!!
These badges look awesome! Congrats! I’ll definitely have to check out the #RunThisYear challenge too
This was an excellent idea. I’ve D/L’d mine, and UPloaded to FB, to brag to those folks who just sat on their butts for the 41 days. ;-)
Woot great job!
Thank you so much for the badge!! I was so glad to have something to celebrate my runs with.
