Shout out to all the runners racing this weekend. I’ll be in Fresno running the Two Cities Marathon and attempting to do THIS.
Trust in your training and I’d like to share some of the best running advice I have ever heard (thanks Paige). It’s pretty simple and to the point, which makes it that much more effective.
“Run the mile you are in.”
What’s the best running advice you have ever been given?

I like the advise of dedicating a mile to each person you want to make proud of in your life…makes the focus get away from just you the individual
I’ve seen many people have success with that.
Good luck this weekend! I don’t know if it’s the BEST advice, but someone once told me “hydrate or die.”
I find that very humorous. :) Thanks.
I LOVE that advice, and it is something I really need to remember during my long runs and races! I always say it is sometimes MORE a mental battle than a physical one. Great post! (p.s. I pinned your motivational quote) – Lea
Thanks… definitely something we should all try to be more aware of.
Good one! I remember my cross country coach saying running is 90% mental and 10% physical. That helps sometimes when I need an attitude adjustment.
very often the case… thanks.
Good reminder to stay present. Love it, thanks.
that thought process has raced me to quite a few PRs
best running advice? def from matt long: I WILL! and from my hubby: do it because you can! Good luck!! :) :)
