I just got back from the launch party to kick off @RunEMZ’s 24 hour treadmill run. We all hung out for an hour before EMZ started her adventure and then I stuck around for maybe the next hour and a half or so and chatted with some SF running friends, EMZ’s support crew, her husband, her parents (I know, cool, right?) and was just having a really good time. There was a DJ spinning, some folks were dancing and it was an all around good atmosphere to help support EMZ and raise money for children’s education in India.
Then I was all set to go to bed…
But I couldn’t. I felt inspired to write something. Honestly, I felt inspired to go out and RUN. I friggin wanted to jump on the treadmill next to her and just knock out 20 or so miles — a warm-up for her adventure, but I wanted to none-the-less. I’m setting the alarm early to log some miles, but I wanted to share some photos from the event.
