On Sunday, the Men will be running the Marathon in the London Olympics. I had a random thought that it would be fun to start a Google + hangout and watch with friends? Anyone interested? It would be at 11 a.m. in London, which puts it at 3 a.m. PST 6 a.m. EST.
If so, add me on Google + here… it limits the number of people to 10. Will there be more than that interested?
I was asked to be a guest blogger on Miss Zippy’s blog and she always has great posts and tons of comments, so I was a bit intimidated. Here was my attempt over at her blog. Please take a moment and head on over and see my THINGS NOT TO DO on race day. Guilty as charged?
I was also asked to be publisher over on Shareaholic. My topic? 5 Things Running Taught Me About Blogging. A short list of things that not only make me a better runner, but hopefully a better blogger. Shareaholic is responsible for those little “share and enjoy” buttons and “You might also like” recomendations you see on many blogs, including mine. Made me feel all fancy and stuff to be on there.
Let me know if you would like to live video chat during the marathon?
Also, comments on those other two posts would be super swell and supportive. Thanks in advance.

I think I can swing the 6 a.m. if I can figure out Google Hangout!
You rock! I mean, you FU’in rock!
Congrats on your Internet fame this week- both great articles!
I loved, LOVED your post on Miss Zippy. Looks like you’re rocking the internet this week. Keep up your awesomeness.
I loved your article on Miss Zippy. Congrats on the fame! Sorry I’m not getting up at 3 to watch the Marathon. I’ll watch when I get up :-)
Brian, you rock! Thanks again for posting with us and sharing it again here. :)
I’m going to try to get up early and chat on twitter… couldn’t ever get into the whole Google+ thing, but I’m excited about the marathon!
just now saw that you had a link posted although it’s not working for me
I wish I had been able to join the video chat for the marathon, it sounded like fun! I stayed up too late watching the end of the Dollhouse on Amazon Prime and the marathon was so early in MDT. :)
Hello Pavement Runner,
Just a quick message to ask if you would be interested in a ‘mutual’ following on twitter. I am currently following you now and am awaiting for your follow-back. (#FYI I do RT’s for all #Triathletes #Cyclists #UltraRunners #Marathoners & #LIVESTRONG members who follow me on Twitter and have something important they want mentioned…)
All the very best to you and yours for the rest of 2012 and beyond Pavement Runner. Look forward to hearing from you…
